Online Naturopathic Degree – Main Curriculum + Specialisation
At the Alternative Medicine College of Canada, the pedagogical approach of the naturopathy program is based on that of the first* American naturopaths whose vision demonstrates a greater wealth of content than European schools, due to the various legal constraints whose practitioners and schools have to deal with in France mainly.
In Quebec, we have the best of both worlds: the influence of French education whose emphasis is on vital hygiene, nutrition, prevention, in accordance with the school of Mr. Marchesseau in France, but also American education with the wealth of care methods.
Therefore, our program is divided into several stages and each stage has several courses between 30 hours and 90 hours, for approximately 1500 hours in addition to clinical case study practices; everything can be done remotely.
.
Natural Health Advisor, 6 courses = 285 hours + 45 hours Clinical Case Study
Natural Health Educator, 5 courses = 450 hours + 120 hours Clinical Case Study
Natural Health technician, 4 courses = 390 hours + 120 hours Clinical case study
Natural Health practitioner, 1 course = 120 hours Clinical case study
Naturopath, 6 courses = 489 hours + 114 hours Clinical case study
Each of these stages or modules leads to a diploma and a start of practice achievable at the level of the diploma obtained.
The detailed description of the content of each of the courses in this program is available below by clicking on the title.
Naturopathy is an art that is cultivated, it is a vocation to develop the ability to help individuals so that they become citizens responsible for their well-being, that of their family and their clients.
The Naturopath, N.D. is therefore a practitioner but also a coach who can be consulted with confidence. His knowledge gives him the knowledge but also the know-how to carry out an in-depth treatment. The naturopath intervenes as much for chronic diseases as for functional problems and also works in prevention.
IMPORTANT: Some schools promise to award a doctorate; this title is reserved for university students and not for private schools. Using this title in Quebec and many other regions may expose the practitioner to legal action. Read the director’s note about it.
