The Alternative Medicine College of Canada (AMCC) offers a specialization in Chinese medicine, as part of its Bioenergetics program (EN500). This program can be divided into two sections: the basic course (common core) of Natural Health Practitioner (PS800) and the specialization in energy and Chinese medicine (Module 912).
The diploma of health practitioner allows to have a good base in nutrition, vital hygiene, health education, as well as some methods of medical care. Then comes the bioenergy module. This module includes, among other things, three courses devoted to Chinese medicine and energy diagnosis. A mine of information coming from a medicine more than a thousand years old! A fourth lesson adds a new dimension: the meaning of our discomforts thanks to the symbolism of the human body.
Finally, the work of Clinical Case Studies gives the future practitioner the “know-how” necessary for online training, which can lead to different practical professions.
The bioenergetician will be able to perform energy balance treatments and intervene mainly in functional diseases and on the subject’s terrain.
Notes
The Anatomy-Physiology prerequisite. It is offered free of charge with the common core of Health Practitioner, therefore within the EN500 program.
