Meet the Staff
David Roger Bentata
Founder of the CMDQ/AMCC
David founded the CMDQ/AMCC in 1988, after ten years of practicing acupuncture and homeopathy. He is a graduate of the Canadian Institute of Acupuncture (1979), graduate of gerontology at the Université de Montréal (1984), doctor in Chinese Medicine from the California Acupuncture College (1986), a certification from the Collège des Médecins de Québec (1987), has a diploma in Homeopathy (1990) and his experience in consulting goes back to 1979 and in teaching to 1987. Naturopath and Teacher
Christine has an MD from Université de Toulouse in France, and a did post-graduate study in Homeopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Paris. She has been working for more than 15 years in holistic health, integrating the human body's symbolism and energy work to her other tools. Christine moved to Quebec in 2006. Besides her practice, she write courses materials, consults in global health, and coaches newly trained therapists.
Dr Laure Martinat, PhD
Physician, Naturopath and Teacher
Certified Naturopath, Naturopathic practitioner of the AMCC, and Herbalist consultant. Laure has a diploma in phytotherapy and aromatherapy. As a tutor at the college, she is in charge of the Naturopathic practitioner program and the Holistic Nutrition program. Laure is a very multi-talented woman and mother of two beautiful children. As well as her studies in natural and western medicine, she is a PhD in medicine with a specialisation in anesthesia and intensive care in France, she writes articles for Plants and Health Magazine, and even manages our Facebook groups.
Her first book is about Bach Flower remedies and is entitled Fleurs de Bach : le guide de référence.
Dr Vania Yotova
Naturopath and Teacher
PhD in medicine from Bulgary, and author of many scientific articles. Vania has been enthusiastic about alternative medicine for many years. After getting a certificate in Bioenergetics abroad, she obtained diplomas in Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Nutritherapy at AMCC. Today, she feels honored to assist the students of alternative medicine in their education. Together with Laure, she is responsible for numerous, diversified activities in the college.
Suzanne has just retired, after 35 years of teaching in the school system. She had already prepared her retirement by taking the Health Technician program at AMCC. She now contributes her wealth knowledge and her research to our textbooks.
Yaël Meir has a law degree from UQAM and a degree in human sciences from Concordia University. She raises her family of four children and works in communications for the AMCC. She is passionate about reading, alternative health and writing spiritual books.
Sigrid Grobys B.Sc, N.D
Naturopath Dr and Teacher
Sigrid holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McGill University (Canada) and completed her 4-year full-time naturopathic training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Building on twelve years of experience practicing naturopathic medicine, Sigrid felt that a qualification in psychotherapy would greatly benefit clients looking to explore causes of illness at a deeper level. She completed a 2-year training in process-oriented psychotherapy with the Metavision Institute in Australia. She works in Singapour with her clients by addressing both physical obstacles to cure and helping untie "emotional knots" with homeopathic treatments and psychotherapy.
A nutritherapy practitioner from the AMCC, Naturopath graduate from EESNQ in Montreal, Morgane shares her time between her child, the Department of Admission-Registration at the AMCC, help for students and her naturopathic consultation services.
