Homeopathy Program
Program Overview
At the Alternative Medicine College of Canada (AMCC), the homeopathy program is built on a pluralistic pedagogical approach, drawing on major European and American trends since its origins. It combines rigour, clinical observation, and a deep understanding of the laws of similarity.
A prior holistic foundation
Before specializing in homeopathy, the training begins with the Natural Health Practitioner program.
This core allows students to acquire a global view of health and the individual as a whole. However, this step may be waived for physicians or health professionals who already have these skills.
Specialization in homeopathy
The homeopathy module, recognized as a specialty within our school, allows for in-depth study of the theoretical and practical foundations of this therapeutic method. Students learn to:
- Use the materia medica in a targeted way, focusing on the major remedies and their indications;
- Identify temperaments and constitutional types, through the observation of psychological, physical, and behavioural traits;
- Master different approaches to treatment, including nosodes, gemmotherapy, and other forms of specific homeopathy.
An additional specialization course explores complementary tools such as:
- homeopathic drainage,
- organotherapy,
- vaccine strains,
- biochemical salts (such as Schüssler salts).
Practical application and validation
The program also includes clinical case studies at each stage of training, allowing students to experience consultations, analyze real situations, and apply their knowledge with people around them. This practical work serves as an internship within our fully distance-learning program.
Each validated module results in an official certificate, and passing all four modules leads to the homeopath diploma. This step-by-step progression fosters student autonomy and real-world application of skills from the very first module.
