Naturopathy Program
Presentation of the Naturopathy Program
At the Alternative Medicine College of Canada (AMCC), the naturopathy program takes a teaching approach inspired by the earliest American naturopaths, who provide content-rich training compared to European schools, due to differing legal constraints affecting practitioners and institutions—especially in France.
In Quebec, we benefit from a harmonious blend of French-style education, focusing on vital hygiene, nutrition, and prevention, following the principles of M. Marchesseau's school in France, along with American teaching, which provides a variety of care methods.
Thus, our program is structured into several modules (described below), each including various courses, all delivered remotely.
For example, the first path in the Natural Health Advisor module includes six courses totalling 285 hours, plus 45 hours for Clinical Case Studies and a project involving the completion of a consultation. Similarly, the next module, Natural Health Educator, contains five courses covering 450 hours and 120 hours for clinical case studies, and so on for the other levels until the completion of the naturopathy program.
Each stage or module of the program leads to obtaining a certificate and prepares for hands-on practice at the level of certification acquired. This method allows students to put their knowledge into practice as soon as they receive their first certificate.

Attention:
The Naturopath diploma is not a doctorate. It is illegal for schools to promise this title, which is reserved exclusively for university institutions.
