Natural Health Practitioner

Module Overview

The Natural Health Practitioner module is the third and final level of the program leading to the professional Natural Health Practitioner diploma, offered by the Alternative Medicine College of Canada (AMCC).

It follows the Natural Health Advisor (Level 1) and Natural Health Educator (Level 2) modules.

This final step consolidates your knowledge and prepares you for a more independent, integrative, and practical approach to natural healing.

Topics covered:

  • Naturopathy and metabolism: understanding the major mechanisms of regulation and vitality;
  • Regenerative treatments: detoxification, revitalization, drainage;
  • Body approaches: Hydrotherapy, baths, massages
  • Use of common homeopathic remedies: practical introduction to their use in a naturopathic setting;
  • Helping relationships and support: practitioner posture, ethics, listening, and communication.

To obtain the professional Natural Health Practitioner diploma, it is also necessary to complete the clinical case study course, which replaces the traditional internship in our distance learning program.

🎓 Once you have obtained your Natural Health Practitioner diploma, you can continue your studies by choosing a specialization (level 4) in:

Career Opportunities

The Natural Health Practitioner is able to work as a consulting therapist in a home setting, privately, or in a health center. They may teach a specific technique, organize seminars (or broadcasts) for schools or associations, or work in a product or device laboratory. This training can be supplemented by the final project leading to the Health Practitioner diploma.
