The Organic Pot

06/04/2019

One of our visitors to the Collège des Médecines Douces website was kind enough to tell us about his latest invention: the organic pot.

What is the Organic Pot?

Because we find a lot of pesticide residues in food today, the inventor of the pot assures us that you will be able to enjoy your favorite dishes with peace of mind. In the words of the inventor, Cece Benemou:

“Pesticide residues are removed from pounded vegetables or in fine pieces by the steam of the boiling water in the first pot placed on the charcoal stove. ”

Thanks to this pot, we can cook food without destroying vitamins and other nutrients. The residues of intensive agriculture are simply eliminated. But what can you cook in this pot, just vegetables? No, you can cook vegetable sauces that are very popular in Africa, rice, meats etc.

Our inventor comes from Guinea, in Africa. He is organic food and works in a university in Conakry where he specializes in pectins. He is also a naturopathic enthusiast, who still seeks other solutions to our modern environmental problems today.

How did he come up with the idea for the organic cooking pot?

The President of Guinea asked citizens to take care of their diet to avoid the diseases of the century such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. So Cece first designed the pot idea on paper, and then went to see a local craftsman!

It just goes to show that we must not stop when there are problems and just complain, we can act and change things!

It seems that people who use the organic pot are happy with it, according to its inventor. You can place the order with him, or if it’s a large quantity, he can come in to produce.

And how much does it all cost? The organic pot costs 15,000 FCFA, which amounts to approximately $ 25. Shipping costs excluded.
