Para-Pharmacie: Where to Find your Supplements Online

September 18, 2019

True, there are a lot of resources out there to find supplements for you or your patients. However, at the AMCC, we recently found (or they found us) a pharmacy in Montreal – but mainly online – where one can order everything one needs in terms of supplements or holistic treatments.

Why bother writing an article on this?
Many of our students (me included!) are looking for a centralised place to find all the holistic medications mentioned in the courses and videos. Indeed, when the time comes to put the theory into practice, it will be necessary to have this kind of resources at your fingertips.

How does Para-Pharmacy work?

The first tool of the Para-pharmacie’s website is its search function. Indeed, all the names of supplements are there and we can easily access it.

For example, I want aniseeds. I write Anis in the search option. I get a complete list of products of all kinds for aniseeds: in the form of organic seeds, in the form of essential oil or even as an ingredient of toothpaste!
Only downside: I can not go back on my search results, I must enter the term again each time.

Otherwise you can search by brand name, or by categories of supplements. Examples: digestion, prenatal, child health, magnesium.

It’s really a gold mine of extra resources, and even information about each of them.

Bach flowers

I mention in conclusion that there is a whole section of the site dedicated to Bach Flowers. We can even compose ourselves the elixir of our choice!

“The Parapharmacie uses Biofloral Bach Flowers, which are prepared from 1/240 diluted organic flower essence in a mixture of cognac and water. Dosage: 4 drops 4 times daily or according to the dosage suggested by your therapist. ”

Each offered plant is described in one sentence in relation to its effect on emotions. For example, Gentian in case of discouragement or Oak for letting go. We simply click on + 2 drops or + 4 drops! To know more about which plant for which emotional issue, see Laure Martinat’s new book on Bach Flowers (in French, available October 1st most probably).

By the way, several courses including Bach Flowers are announced in their Events Calendar.

Very soon, the AMCC will open an account with them in order to have their students and graduates order through them with a discount! Stay tuned…
