Oats are known for their nutritional values. In external use, it is emollient. Its proteins and carbohydrates hydrate. Its beta-glucan is a polysaccharide with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Its avenanthramides soothe itching and its B group vitamins stimulate the epidermis.
Anti-irritation oatmeal bath:
This soothing and balancing milky bath softens the skin and stimulates the mind. Using an electric mill, successively grind 100g of oatmeal, 50g of coarse salt, and 50g of chamomile flowers into powder. Pour everything into a fabric bag and immerse this bag in a hot bath. Leave to infuse for a few minutes before diving into this milky bath.
Anti-thirst mask for dry and dull hair:
Dilute 50g of oatmeal in 200ml of lukewarm water, with a teaspoon of honey and 1 egg yolk. Mix to obtain a very smooth paste, which should be left for 20 minutes on the entire hair, paying particular attention to the lengths and ends, under a hot towel.
