Heather Bach Flower #14

11/16/2021

Here we are already at #14 out of the 38 Dr. Bach remedies to help with emotional issues.

Heather: Don’t Leave me Alone!

The Heather plant profile is afraid to be alone, that’s his main concern: don’t leave him with himself, his thoughts, he’ll get depressed!

The problem is, he can choke people with his need for attention. Dr Bach called them ‘buttonholers’ because they latch onto people, all the time talking at exhaustive length about their problems, great and small, until people begin actively to avoid them. Thus the thing Heather people fear – loneliness – is brought about because of their own behaviour!

So how does taking the plant remedy help?

bruyèreHeathers will basically feel more secure with themselves, will be able to be there for others to give them compassion, a wonderful gift they have.

Does It Concern You?

  • you can’t stand solitude and always need an ear to listen to your stories?
  • you’d like to increase your level of compassion and openness towards others, and at the same time decrease your selfishness and need to be recognised?
  • you want to have more meaningful exchanges with others, and free yourself from worrying too much about your own person, so you can focus on others?

In the Words of Dr. Bach

Those who are always seeking the companionship of anyone who may be available, as they find it necessary to discuss their own affairs with others, no matter whom it may be. They are very unhappy if they have to be alone for any length of time.

– The Twelve Healers and Other Remedies

What About the Children?

For the very “me-I” child who will talk at length about his illnesses or his problems.
