The best fruit of autumn is the apple! Both energetic and a cellular protector, we like them green, red, yellow, raw and also cooked. Enjoy this fruit in a different way with the recipe of the month :
Gluten-free apple crumble!
. 4 apples
. 70g rice flour
. 60g lactose-free vegetable margarine or butter
. 30g wholemeal sugar such as rapadura, muscovado, coconut sugar, etc.
. 60g almond powder
. ½ vanilla pod
. optional (½ teaspoon of cinnamon)
Peel and dice the apples. Place them in the pan.
In a bowl, cut the margarine into pieces and add the rice flour, sugar, vanilla seeds and almond powder.
Work with your fingertips to obtain a sandy effect. Bake at 180°C for 20-30 minutes depending on your pan. Don’t hesitate to add a sheet of aluminium foil to the top of the crumble if you see that it is “browning” too quickly
