Virtues
Spectacularly effective after just a few days’ use. Açaí oil is highly tannic, so it has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and astringent properties, making it an ideal ally for combination skin as well as dry skin. Its high concentration of vitamin F protects cells and stimulates regeneration.
Recipes
1- Repairing make-up remover
For very gentle facial cleansing, apply 2 to 3 drops of açaí oil to a cotton pad soaked in rose floral water. Gently sweep the cotton pad in small circles over your face and décolleté, never rubbing. Finish by dabbing the skin with a clean, dry cloth.
2- Mask for distressed skin
Dilute 1 teaspoon of açaí powder in 2 spoonfuls of honey, then gently blend in the pulp of 1/4 of a previously blended or crushed avocado. You can add 3 drops of açaí oil to the mixture. Leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.
