Holiday Coco Cups

Just in time for the holidays, here is a nice HEALTHY pudding recipe that looks chocolatey but never mind: you'll find bananas, avocados and cocoa + dates, vanilla  ect. but not a trace of chocolate or bad sugar.

So frankly, you can wow the gallery while saving calories!

Recipe

Here is the list of ingredients that make 10 very pretty little cups of mousse:

1 avocado
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoon of cocoa
2 tablespoon of honey or 5 dates (I took date honey :)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
a little salt and cinnamon

You mix everything for 30 seconds, with water to choose the texture, and you put chia seeds on the top to decorate.

Here's the result, picture taken from the top.

A real delight, and chic too! And yes, I confirm, the children ate it but be careful you should have seen the face when I revealed the presence of avocado in the recipe, my son did not believe it! Suddenly he hesitated to finish his goblet but no problem, it means more for me!

Benefits of an Avocado

What good can come from one avocado?

It contains good unsaturated fatty acids, one of kind when it comes to vegetables! Also:

  • rich in fiber (for good transit, promotes satiety)
  • source of vitamin E (antioxidant),  potassium (nervous system, muscle function, blood pressure), vitamin B6 (contributes in particular to the proper functioning of the nervous system and immunity) and vitamin B9 (cell renewal, very interesting for pregnant women for the development of the fetus, and in growing children, as well as for convalescent people)

And even though you can find it all your round, it's mainly a winter fruit, so very pertinent with this recipe!
