Sesame

Rich in natural antioxidants such as sesamolin, lecithin, and vitamin E, sesame oil helps cells combat oxidative stress. Its high concentration of linoleic acid, an omega-6, protects the skin from external aggressions and effectively maintains its hydration. Oleic acid, an omega-9, deeply nourishes the skin, promotes the healing of minor lesions, and soothes itching.

Gandhoush: the Indian oil pulling ritual
Oral hygiene goes beyond simply brushing your teeth. For a complete cleanse, try this Ayurvedic practice:
Upon waking, take one teaspoon of sesame oil and swish it around in your mouth for a few minutes, passing it between the teeth, over the gums, and across the palate. Purists recommend up to 20 minutes. Then spit out the oil and rinse your mouth with warm water.
Practice daily, or occasionally as part of a detox cure.

Egyptian oil: the art of releasing tensions by hand
This massage oil, inspired by Egyptian traditions, helps the hands better relieve muscle tension.
Finely grate 40 g of fresh ginger root onto a very fine cloth, press to extract the juice, then mix it with 3 tablespoons of sesame oil and half a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Store this oil in a sealed bottle in the refrigerator and shake before each use.
