Matcha (green tea)

In equal quantity and in terms of comparison with other green teas, matcha contains a surprising level of antioxidants. In fact, a single cup of matcha green tea is equivalent to 10 cups of classic green tea !

Called EGCG, the antioxidants present in matcha are from the polyphenol family.

They reduce inflammation

  1. They increase skin tone through their action against free radicals
  2. They reduce premature aging

Recipe 1: Detox mask for the face Mix

in a bowl: 1/2 teaspoon of organic matcha, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of hydrosol of your choice. Using a brush or your clean fingers, apply your mask to your face, avoiding the eye area, leave on for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

Recipe 2: Homemade powdered toothpaste

2 tablespoons of white clay, 1 tablespoon of calcium carbonate, ½ teaspoon of Matcha tea, 5 drops of peppermint essential oil. Pour the powders into a bowl, then add the essential oil and mix to homogenize the toothpaste powder. To brush your teeth, simply moisten your toothbrush under a stream of tap water and then dip it in toothpaste powder.
