The CRDL has an ellipsoidal shape, crafted from solid beech or walnut wood, captivating with its elegance and simplicity. A Sound and Therapeutic Instrument
The name CRDL comes from the English word cradle, symbolizing the goal of creating connection. Its unique shape allows a rocking motion reminiscent of a cradle, enhancing comfort and security.

Designed by Dutch architects Dennis Schuivens and Jack Chen as part of their graduation project, the instrument demonstrates how design can improve the quality of life for people with dementia.
