Arnica Flowers
Arnica macerate is a gentle, must-have remedy for any home pharmacy, soothing bruises, cramps, and sprains. Used in massage, it’s especially effective for aiding recovery after sports or preparing muscles before activity.
Rich in flavonoids, it strengthens blood vessels and stimulates circulation. Its natural compounds—antiseptic thymol, draining coumarins, soothing carotenoids, and anti-inflammatory lactones—help injured or irritated skin regain calm, comfort, and vitality.
How to prepare arnica macerate:
Fill a wide-mouth jar halfway with dried arnica flowers and cover with raspberry seed oil. Seal tightly and let macerate for 4 weeks, turning the jar regularly. Strain through gauze or a compress, pressing the flowers, and store the oil in a sterilized, airtight container.
