blogRecipesPear Chocolate Fondant: Easy 2-Ingredient Recipe

Craving a delicious yet incredibly simple dessert? Pears and dark chocolate are all you need! This rich, melt-in-your-mouth recipe is naturally sweetened by the fruit and perfect for enjoying seasonal pears.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ripe pears
  • 220 g dark chocolate, at least 70% cocoa
  • A little raw cacao powder for dusting

Instructions

  • Peel the pears, remove the cores and cut them into pieces.
  • Cook for a few minutes until very soft.
  • Gently melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler.
  • Blend the warm pears with the melted chocolate until completely smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the mixture into a cake tin or individual ramekins.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
  • Just before serving, lightly dust with raw cacao powder.

The result? A wonderfully smooth and fudgy texture, with no butter, flour or eggs. The slight bitterness of the raw cacao perfectly balances the natural sweetness of the pears and the richness of the dark chocolate.

💡 Good to know: If you want a truly no-added-sugar dessert, make sure to choose a chocolate that contains no added sugar.
