When we hear about the ‘raspberry plant,’ we immediately think of its delicious little red fruits… and yet its leaves also contain valuable properties, especially for women. It’s no coincidence that raspberry leaves have been nicknamed “women’s herb”!
Female Hormonal System:
Its effects are notable in female senescence, ovarian hyalinization, dysmenorrhea, and amenorrhea. As a major regulator and stimulator of ovarian function, raspberry stimulates the secretion of both estrogen and progesterone. It acts in cases of delayed menstruation and female hypogonadism during puberty.
It is an effective uterine antispasmodic and is also active in metrorrhagia, hematuria, and painful menstruation.
It is recommended during post-menopause or in cases of early menopause, particularly for menorrhagia.
Through its hormonal action, raspberry contributes to reducing excessive hair growth in women, a property enhanced by the simultaneous intake of Alchemilla vulgaris (progesterone-like).
Respiratory System:
Raspberry plant is involved in treating allergies.
Circulatory System:
Raspberry plant helps with atherosclerosis. It acts on anatomical-pathological conditions characterized by fibro-sclerosis.
Nervous System:
Raspberry plant has antispasmodic and muscle-relaxing effects. It addresses neurovegetative imbalances, dysendocrinies, and chronic inflammations such as enterocolitis.
