Practical Patient Assessment
In addition to clinical case studies and exams, the curriculum consists of practical and concrete coaching. The Client-Practitioner Relationship Course helps the practitioner to identify a patient’s specific profile. The practitioner learns to assess the affinities, personalities, and needs of each individual.
The Developing a Professional Practice course focuses on legal considerations and office management. It also includes aspects of marketing and generating income. To complete the curriculum, students complete an internship under the supervision of an active practitioner.
Pursuing a Topic of Interest
The Post Graduate Degree allows students to study a topic in depth. This study often leads student to a particular professional orientation. The required thesis paper has the student conceptualise and apply their knowledge.
Our three choices of post-graduate programs at the AMCC (see menu on the top ) have a few common points:
- they last about 450h
- they also require a one-year stage
- they’re worth 30 credits
- they cost about 3360$ CDN / 2820 $US / 2700 Euros.
To register, you need to be already an AMCC graduate in one of those three fields (Naturopathy, Homeopathy or Bio-Energetics). You can also be a doctor who’d like to complement his practice or a graduate from another alternative medicine school. In that last case, you’ll need to request from the AMCC an equivalence in terms of degree, before you register.
